Top Reference Apps Performance on iOS in Israel Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the reference app landscape in Israel on the iOS platform showcased some interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, the following apps stood out in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue.

Google Translate maintained a consistent presence in the market with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 4.5K to 5.4K. Active user numbers were stable, starting at about 331K and ending the quarter at around 344K.

Athkar - أذكار saw a varied trend in downloads, starting with 1.4K and peaking at 2.3K in late September. Weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $100 and closing the quarter at $89. Active users exhibited a gradual increase, moving from 32K to just over 34K by the end of September.

Muslim: Azan, Qibla, Al Quran experienced an increase in revenue early in the quarter, peaking at $294 in late July, before seeing a decline towards the end. Downloads showed an initial upward trend, peaking at 1.2K in late September, while active users varied, ending at around 5.9K.

Polaris VPN had a unique journey, starting with a spike in downloads at 2.7K in early July before settling between 100 and 600 for the rest of the quarter. Active users were initially high at 2.3K but leveled out to around 1.7K by the quarter's close.

Translator, Translate App saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, from $165 in late August to $518 by the end of September. Downloads consistently ranged between 1.1K to 1.2K, while active users grew steadily, reaching 2.1K by the quarter's end.
